Pierz Sr., Ernest P. 78, of Lake Bluff, formerly of South Holland died October 20, 2007. Husband of the late Maureen (nee Coghlan), father of Ernest Jr. (Karen), Julie Highfill, Patrick (Carol), Stephen (Leslie), Mary (Richard) Bocian and the late Maureen and Matthew, brother of the late Alfred, the late Lucille Zurowicz, the late Richard, Harold, the late Wesley and Elaine Pavlock, grandfather of 16, great-grandfather of 5. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Respiratory Health Assoc., 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 E. Vine Ave., Lake Forest. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. Info. 847-234-0022.
