Ernest Isby Obituary
(1946-2021)
Coach Isby was a Special Education teacher and coach for Chicago Public Schools working at Esmond School and Montefiore Special School. During his 34 year career he inspired countless young men, coaching them to numerous softball and basketball championships as well as many Good Sportsmanship Awards through the Chicago Park District's Alternative Athletic Conference. Survived by: wife: Julie Nudd stepchildren: Jules Radkins (Pia) and children Henry and Honore, and Grace Radkins sister: Toni Thompson (Kathiona) brothers: Martin Thompson (Joanne) and Gerald Isby-Davis (Betty) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
