To the family of Ernie "Fatman" Eldridge,
My husband and I went to visit Ernie today at the nursing home. We were in the city for a short time and decided to stop in. We were saddened to hear that he passed away earlier in the year.
We will miss him and he will always be in our hearts and remembered as a special individual that enriched our lives. We will always have fond memories of the golf course, the track and in my dining room eating his favorite spaghetti.
God Bless,
Frank & Debbie Williams

We met Ernie through our daughter Barbara when she lived at Hampton Ct. We felt that she was a little safer in Chicago, knowing that Ernie was nearby. She loved him as a friend, confidante and mentor. She valued his advice and positive outlook on life. So many of us have been blessed to have known Ernie.
