Howell, Erma Nancy Flick beloved wife of the late "Doc" Ercle R. Howell, Jr., departed this world at age 86 on December 26, 2003. Resident of Bolingbrook for 30 years. Loving mother of sons Ercle Ray Howell, III of Bolingbrook, IL, George Flick Howell of Noblesville, IN and daughter, Erma Russie Howell of Chicago, IL, dear grandmother to Bryan, Emily and Matthew Howell of Noblesville, IN, sister to Beryl E. Bates, El Cerrito, CA, Shirley L. Flick, Millbrae, CA, in addition four loving sisters-in-law Virginia Douglas, Vera Stegall, Margaret Shaver and Mary Walter and cousins, nieces and nephews. Member Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission, DAR-Downers Grove Chapter, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) of Greater Joliet. Ice Skating Institute and Election Judge for the State of Illinois, Will County. Memorial Service Wednesday, December 31, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church, 305 Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IN, gathering time at 9:30 a.m. Interment with Mr. Howell at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
