Grandma,
I am going to miss you so much!! I have so many memories with you, You teaching me to cook everyone of your reciepes, meatballs, artichokes, fritat, eggplant, etc, too many to list. You have taught me so many things in life. I will always remember you saying "the Whatchamcallit" when you wanted something and couldnt get the word out, we even used to buy you that candy bar...LOL Riley, Ryan and Kalee loved you so much and i know you loved them, you couldnt wait for us to come a visit, you would ask everyday if we were coming over and you always gave them a dollar. You always played with them no matter what the game was... you colored, and played resturant with them. Kalee thinks its great that her middle name is your name. you will be with her for the rest of her life ( well you will be with us all) Then there is Jay, you loved him like he was your own son. I will always remember how you used the excuse you needed help to get up , just so he would hug you...LOL he was happy to help you get up and get around. He loved you alot too. We were happy that you moved in with us and we were able to help take care of you. The kids always made sure you were ok.
I will miss you always and I will never forget you! I will not say Goodbye because you will be with us always. I know you will be watching me and my family, while cooking for grandpa again.
LOVE YOU AWLAYS!!!
Chris, Jay, Riley,Ryan and Kalee Mae

Family Food and Friends.
Emmanuella "Mae" Dote knew about the more important things in life. When we eventually go , we will be judged by how we lived our lives; how we treated others; how they treated us. What will our legacy be ? Grandma Dote's legacy will be one of love, caring and true compassion.
There is nothing to say, other than we will all miss you Grandma, everyone of us whose lives you touched. Now you can spread your sunshine up in heaven, with all those who have been waiting for your arrival.
By the way Grandma, if you find the time, see if you can put a good word in for us with the Angels and Archangels, who I know you will be breaking bread with. They will go crazy when they try your egg plant lasagna or delicious meatballs.
Save me a seat at your dinner table. I love you Grandma. God speed. Your Grandson Jim.

I wanted all of you to know how sorry we are for your loss. Having had the pleasure of growing up in the house next door to Mae and her family, I feel blessed. I have some very wonderful memories of her. So does my Mom Sandy. I am so happy we saw her over the summer, that time spent with her will be cherished. You are all in our hearts and prayers. I'll never forget her calling me "babe" which I am sure was a term of endearment that many of you heard her say often...so cute. What a sweetheart. I am glad God blessed her with so many years.

PS Now she's with Rocky. My Dad adored them both...even dedicated my little clubhouse in the yard to him....he painted "Rocky's kids" on it! Now they are all together looking down on us.
