Kaulentis, Emma C. (nee Coroneos), beloved wife of the late John J. Kaulentis, loving mother of Chrysanthe, James J. (Carmen) and Dean J. (Kathie) Kaulentis. Devoted daughter of the late Gus and Agape Coroneos, proud grandmother of John K. (Laura) Kerstein, Dawn (Roy) Wiggemansen, Bill (Anastasia) Kerstein, John D. (Maureen), Jackie, Demitra (Christopher) Foufas, Michael J. and the late John J. Kaulentis, great-grandmother of Matthew, Michael, John, Lukas, Emma, Calista, Kenny, Alexis, Jimmy, Alex, T.C., Caitlyn and John James, dear sister of Julia Pish and the late Theodore, John and Thomas Coroneos, fond aunt of many. Visitation Monday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Tuesday morning at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1017 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago for funeral service at 10:30 am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials to the John J. Kaulentis Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o 30 S. I loved YaYa dearly!

We will all miss her dearly! Yaia Yaia was as much a grandparent to my children as Baba, and their tears and sense of loss only confirm that. As for me, Palm Springs and ravioli will never be the same. Who will bless the dough? Who will hide the coin in the holiday bread? Who will tell me the unfiltered truth? She lived a good long life. If I know half the joy and pride she had, I will die complete.

to chrys i hope that my name rings a bell. obviously we've not seen each other for over 40 years,but when i saw that your mom passed away,alot of old memories came to mind.i still remember your mother and mine having some great laughs at the restaurant at california and foster....for the life of me i can't recall the name of it.....it saddened me when i read about your mother so please accept my sincerest sorrow on your loss........your old ,old old friend jerry kerbis (
