Ellen was my Dad's first cousin and absolutely the STRONGEST, MOST COURAGEOUS AND GRACIOUS WOMAN that I have have ever known!
She survived and surpassed so many obstacles in her life with dignity and grace! She was kind and thoughtful even when she was suffering. I could not even stand in her shadow.
Her birthday was last week. I was out of town and didn't call her. I have been thinking so much about her and then found out that she passed away. I could not stop crying! I am so sorry to have missed that opportunity.
I am just hoping that she realized how many lives she touched and how much she meant to everyone.
ELLEN, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART!
Say "Hi" to your Jim and have cocktails with he and my Dad. My dad also adored and looked up to you.
