Elizabeth Ransley Obituary

Ransley, Elizabeth age 55 of Chicago, beloved daughter of the late Leslie and Bernice Ransley and sister to Mark Ransley, lost a two year battle with breast cancer at Northwestern Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:30 pm. Elizabeth was surrounded by friends. Elizabeth held her Broker license with Koenig & Strey and has practiced real estate since 1988. Elizabeth was a graduate of Oak Park River Forest HS and a 1977 Graduate of Valparasio University. Elizabeth loved everything French, especially art. Elizabeth also enjoyed gardening, reading, biking and music. Elizabeth was French/English bi-lingual. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Elizabeth Ransley's name to Primo Center for Women and Children (4241 W. Washington Blvd, Chicago 60624 or Merit School of Music (meritmusic.org) Memorial, Tuesday, December 7, Drake Hotel, 140 E. Walton Place, 312.787.2200, 6:00 to 6:30 Reception, 6:30 to 7:30 Memorial Service.

Elizabeth helped me find my first home in Chicago. She was a smart, savvy woman who really cared about her clients. I am saddened by this news.
