Whenever I hear the name "Chicago", I always remember Betty and the fun weekend we had visiting with her and all the downtown sites. I remember her laugh and that black hair and the stories we would share at BCC when we were freshman. Years may pass but memories are forever. What a reunion Betty is having now with her Mom and Dad and Grandparents. Enjoy my friend and keep us in your memories.
As ever, Jan(Dailey)Heckman

Betty was a thoughtful and kind person who was always willing to help others. I am so sorry that she was ill and passed away at such a young age. Linda Sances

Betty is a dear friend from our days together at Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa. She, Mary Ann Beverstock, Mary Frieburger, Jeanne Grun, Jan Daley, and me (Mary Ann Carey) spent most of our first year at BCC doing fun activities together - eating ice cream at the Green Gables, spending time in the student union, playing cards, going to Fonda for a weekend, watching Perry Como TV shows, shopping, etc. We loved it when Betty's dear mother came to see her because she immediately adopted all of us. Time has passed since those days, but our friendship has remained strong. Betty, you and your many friends, particularly Diane and Jan, are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to hearing of the passing of my grammer and high school classmate Betty Cassidy. Fortunately, I was able to visit with her and be at her table at our Trinity High School reunion recently. Betty was one of those peopele that you enjoyed being around when you were in her presence-always friendly and warm. My heart goes out to her longtime friend Diane. They were like sisters. Betty we'll see you on the other side someday and have dinner and laughs together.
