Elias Michalopoulos Obituary

Michalopoulos, Elias J. age 37, passed away Sunday July 4, 2004 at Glenwood Care Center, Joliet. Late of Chicago, formerly of South Chicago Heights. Beloved son of Sharon (nee Sweetin) Farkas and the late Ted Michalopoulos, loving brother of Elizabeth Reed, Alexandria "Aleka" Lach and Ted Michalopoulos, dear uncle of five nephews and two nieces, also survived by numerous aunts and uncles. He was born in Chicago Heights on September 5, 1966. Mr. Michalopoulos was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Finance. He worked the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a trader. Visitation Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, 3 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Interment will take place in Greece. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Harbor Life Hospice, 800 Roosevelt Rd., Bldg. C., Suite 206, Glen Ellyn, IL., 60137 or University of Illinois Chicago, Center for Neurological Studies would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Glenwood Care Center and Harbor Life Hospice for the wonderful care extended to Elias. Info: 815-485-3200
