Belohlav, Eleanore "Julie" (nee Samelak), age 92, of Oswego, IL, formerly of Midlothian and Plainfield, IL, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at The Tiller's Nursing Home in Oswego. She was born February 17, 1920 in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Edward Belohlav, loving mother of James (Diane Decker) Belohlav, Carol (Dan) Pickert and Judith Belohlav, adored grandmother of Kate and Bret Belohlav; Thomas, Kevin and Samantha Pickert, devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Samelak, loving step-daughter of the late Justine Samelak, dear sister of Mary (the late Joe) Quane, Terry (Don) Bitters, Pat (the late Bud) Hillock and four deceased siblings, fond aunt of many. Visitation Monday, March 12, 9:00-11:00 A.M. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road (Corner of Rts. 30 & 59), Plainfield. Funeral Services will follow Monday, 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Please allow me to express my condolences to the family of Mrs. Belohlav. I am so very sorry for your loss. During these difficult time you can find comfort by drawing closer to family and to God. James 4:8 says, "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you". With that closeness you can find comfort from his word the Bible.
