Eleanor Starkeson Obituary

Starkeson, Eleanor Hoffman (born Hoffman), a former resident of Chicago and Palatine for 84 years, died in Greenbrae, California on May 7th, loving wife of the late Calvin Starkeson and mother of the late Edward Starkeson, survived by sons Richard and partner John of San Francisco, CA, Gerald and wife Bona of Nashua, NH and Edward's partner Larry of Ft Lauderdale, and her brother William Eaton. With her husband, she owned and managed Chicago Marking Products Company for many years. She recently moved to Mill Valley, CA to be near her son, Richard and his partner John. She was an avid story teller who late in life indulged her desires to travel on cruises and to Alaska and Hawaii. She touched the hearts of all who met her with her charm and humor. She always considered the needs of others before her own. A memorial service will be held in Mill Valley, CA. For information call 415-380-8480.
