I'm so sorry to know Elaine passed. Just such a wonderful, dedicated woman. She received the Moody Alumni of the Year award. There are precious life skills I learned from Elaine as a co-worker and friend. And oh so many stories about her time at PGM. And after she retired she still committed herself and the day to the Lord for what He had for her. Some of her life story and ministry is in the history books of PGM. I loved her dearly.

My heartfelt condolences to Elaine's family. Elaine was my director, friend, spiritual mother, and mentor during the years I served in the Women's Division of Pacific Garden Mission. I know for certain she is resting in our Lord's loving arms and that He met her with a welcoming smile, a comforting whisper: "Well done, my faithful servant."

My deepest sympathy to Elaine's family and friends. She was a unique person and served her Lord for so many years at Pacific Garden Mission. I knew her when we both attended Moody Bible Institute and would see her from time to time when lending a hand at the PGM. I had deep respect for her ability to provide care and witness for so many women.
