Elaine F. Gronskis, age 86, late of Riverdale. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Sophie Gronskis; loving cousin of Gail Faustin, Victor Fabris, Richard Masny, Jim Kotapka, and Michael Kotapka. Elaine was retired from Illinois Central Railroad with many years of dedicated service. She loved animals, especially her cats. Memorial Mass Saturday, February 8, 11:30 AM, at Christ Our Savior Church, 880 E. 154th Street, South Holland. Memorials may be directed to the South Suburban Humane Society. Elayne was my Mother's, (Gertrude Dahl) best friend and co-worker at the Illinois Central Railroad. We had been trying to get in touch with Elayne over the weekend. Further inquiries led us to the sad news today. Elayne will be fondly remembered by our family.
