Elaine Compell Obituary

Think of Elaine often; makes me smile. We were the Allergy Twins - between the two of us, we could've been in a record holding position!

I also worked with Elaine; we were at Rush (University Medical Center) in the PR dept and she was a wonderful colleague. Always cheerful and thinking only the best of everyone. After she left we met for lunch a few times. I now wish we'd done this more frequently; I'm saddened to learn she gone. But she will not be forgotten by me. She was simply a lovely person and I'm grateful to have known her.

I was also a classmate. If you ever had a problem you could always talk to her and she would always be a friend. We lost touch as I have lived in Texas so long but she is remembered with fond memories

Elaine was a schoolmate at Loretto Englewood High School, always had a sweet smile and a gentle way. Looking back so far on those days, I remember her as the prettiest gal in our class! While our paths haven't crossed much since high school, she will be remembered very fondly by me as a Lady of Loretto. Condolences to her family.

I will miss her because she wrote me notes when Hollidays. On my birthdays and just to check on me. And sometimes me and my dad would have lunch with her . Or me and my grandpa would visit. Or dad would visit. And the Times that I visit or call she would say . I love you sweetie and I say I love you to. But she will see joe everyday i will miss you

For The Family of My Dear Friend, Elaine.

Elaine was the best friend anyone could ever have. I feel truly blessed that I have known her since our junior year of high school, stood up in her wedding, watched her children, grandchildren and now her great grandchildren grow. Joe and Elaine were indeed the lovliest, most inclusive friends anyone could ever have. May their souls rest in peace. They are finally together again in God's light.
