Dr Miller was my doctor for over 10 years he was one of the best people I've ever met in the world and I say that sincerely we would have deep conversations about relationships work rest in peace doc you are a great person

Dr. Miller was my friend, doctor, and man of great advice. He saw my wife and I at the Same visit so he would listen not take sides and give a solution. We always would have talks till midnight sometimes later. He was a very generous person and great bed side manner. I miss him very much. He was a good friend to me and my wife. Rip. Doc

Dr. Miller was a wonderful doctor and a wonderful man. He helped me transition from male to female and had so much compassion and understanding. I still miss him. I'm sorry I didn't know about the memorial service in time to come.

I worked as Dr. Miller's secretary at the Chicago Department of Health and revered him. He lit up the room and always had a special sparkle in his eye. Everyone, including me, crushed on him. When he left, he had a tea ceremony party that I will never forget! He was such a gift.

There are no words to express what a light Dr. Miller was in my life. He also helped my sister and I when we were ready to give up. His love was immeasurable and I am so blessed to have been a patient of his for over 10 years. I will forever miss his compassion, grace, lessons, laugh and style. I will never forget him. God Bless you Dr. Miller. You were simply the BEST! Prayers to Yoko, Yumi and family who he loved so dearly.

Was a patient for a short period of time,and I found Dr Miller amazing. His knowledge was endless. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. It was a pleasure to have met him. Thank you for all your years of service.

Dr. Miller was a great, down to earth man. I am thankful that I was able to have him in my life; even if it was for just a short time. Very inspirational, and warm-hearted person. I will forever miss our talks about Japan, but will never forget his encouragement to keep reaching for my goals. Thank you Dr. Miller for everything. May you rest in peace.

Saddened to hear the news... an amazing man and MD. Words cannot really give justice to all that he was, what a Light on this Earth, and one-of-a kind! A bright spirit, a delightful soul, a loving heart, a brilliant mind, and a healer on so many levels. He will be very much missed. I'll always remember him on Valentine's, what a day to transition on!, the holiday of love, for someone with such a big heart, and who shared of himself, his gifts and his talents (and his love) with so many. Blessings and love to all his family. I was a patient/friend along with my parents.

Dr Miller was my husband's and my dr. He was the most compassionate Dr I had ever had. I am saddened he is gone. We love you dr. Miller. God Bless you!

I am very saddened to learn of Dr. Miller's passing from this world. He was my Doctor for several years during a crucial time in my life and, as so many have said, he was my inspiration and the model for what a Primary Physician should be. I can also say he saved my life! I always felt like I was bragging when I told someone who my Doctor is! I am particularly proud to have met his wife, Yoko, whom he relied on so heavily. My condolences to Dr. Miller he was a great man..and thank you for servicing me!

As I was researching Dr. Miller and his practice this morning, I was saddened to see he had passed. I truly loved meeting and greeting him and his wife, Yoko, to our annual Internal Medicine Meeting in San Francisco since 2011. Dr. Miller very much reminded me of my late grandfather, which may be why I felt the deeper connection. He was a very gentle soul and sweet man and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him. My condolences to his family.

Dr. Miller was my PCP for almost 10 years! He truly loved his craft and cared for his patients. He practiced medicine in the way it was truly intended, one that has been forgotten about. My deepest condolences to his family.

is such an amazing soul i will forever be indebted to him.. he would sleep in his office and stay till 1am to make sure he saw everyone.. he gave me hope when everyone else gave up on me. i love you dr miller we werent just your patients you treated us like family.. we will never ever forget you

Greatest Doc ever.

I was truly heartbroken to learn of Dr. Miller's passing. He was my Doc for many years and no other physician will ever be able to fill his shoes. He was a beacon of light and ray of hope for his patients.

Only just reading this now, April 4. Regret missing visitation at the office. All my love to family. And to Dr. Miller: You were my physician, counselor, and friend. So often you and I, so of like mind and spirit, laughed and shared stories, incites and insults, like two old drinking buddies in a bar. But what's important, you were always there for me as a patient first! There are few whom I've known in life I'd choose to walk with through eternity, but you would be welcome.....

Dr Miller was more than just my Dr he was family, friend and mentor! Thank you for the years of health, guidance and advice to myself and so many that found you! I am going to forever miss you!
