Edward Wrobel Obituary

Wrobel, Edward A. age 71, of New Lenox, formerly of Chicago, passed away October 12, 2006. He worked for Illinois Bell for 40 years retiring in 1994, a Veteran of the United States Army. Edward is survived by his loving family, his wife Evelyn Wrobel (nee Gozdek), three sons, Edward, Eric (Catherine) and Erin Wrobel, two daughters, Ellen (Joe) Paparelli and Eydie (Anthony) Pacella, sister, Stephanie Kicmal, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Johanna (nee Vaclaviak), brother, Chester and Hank Wrobel and two sisters, Mary Szlachta and Wanda Sisk. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way (corner of LaGrange Rd., South of Lincoln Hwy.), Frankfort, IL, 60423, from 2 until 8 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2006. Funeral service 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2006, leaving for St. Jude Church in New Lenox for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, for information: 815-806-2225
