I just wanted to express my sincerest sympathy to Linda, Eddie, Randy, Tommy, and Sabrina. Since my father's passing (Robert Spence) nearly 20 years ago, time and distance has made it difficult to keep in contact with the Spence side of my family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I was saddened to learn of Edward's passing today. About ten years ago, I used to work with Eddie and Randy Spence at SPR Inc. One day Eddie and Randy took me to the Spence home for lunch. There I met the entire Spence family at the time. I remember having a great conversation with Edward about the old days in Chicago under Mayor Richard J. Daley. I was very impressed by what a great family I met that day. Little did I know that Mr. and Mrs. Spence would be blessed with six grandchildren! My heart and my prayers are with the Spence family at this sad time.
