As a young girl, we frequently gathered at grandma and grandpa Salmich's house for family functions. Uncle Ed would take the nieces and nephews into the BASEMENT for a "jungle hunt. We went looking for the "alligators in the basement" After listening to his stories, I think we actually saw them! What an imagination this man had and what fun we had with him. He will be missed.

I became friends with Ed years ago as a salesman calling on him at Jewel. We stayed in touch after we both retired. Ed was always enthusiastic, honest and a positive thinker. I will miss him.

My "Uncle Ed" always made me laugh and I enjoyed making him laugh. it was always a pleasure when Ed and Dolores visited our household. The canasta games he played with my father-in-law Herb, sister-in-law Cheryl, wife Kathy and my two daughters Elyse and Alison caused our home to resound with laughter particularly when Ed would shout "Cry, eye!". We will miss him dearly.
