U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran, loving son of the late Louis and the late Anna Polek (nee Zygmunt), dear brother of Mary (late Joseph) Plecki, Eugene Polek, late Irene (Raymond) Drzymkowski, late Stanley Polek, late Joseph Polek, late John Polek and the late Helen Polek, uncle of many nieces and nephews, cousin and friend of many. Member of P.N.A. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m., from the Wolniak Funeral Home, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd., to St. Turibius Church for Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. We are sorry to hear of Edec's passing. Having known him for over 50 years in "Back of the Yards" and beyond. Not being able to make the wake or funeral, we wish our condolences to the family. Angelo & Bernie Roccasalva also here in Florida and unable to see Edec off in his final journey, where we will all meet again someday. GOD Bless.

We're sorry to here about Eddie. My wife and I are in Texas visiting our children when we received word. We just talked about Eddie at Sugar's wake. We'll say a prayer and I'll call you when I return home.
