Edward Mlakar Obituary
On December 29, 2021, Edward passed away due to complications following a serious surgery. A longtime resident of Chicago and devoted husband and father; Ed leaves behind his beloved wife Roxana, daughter Angenee, and son Edward Jr. Ed was the dearest son to father Michael, Mother Renee, stepmother Shelly and mother-in-law Angie. Ed was a dear brother to Elizabeth and stepbrother to Ken and Taylir. Ed will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and was specially loved by all his in-laws. He spent his career working for the U.S. Postal Service in Chicago. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks and special lifelong fan of the Chicago White Sox. Over the year, Ed endured many surgeries, rarely complaining due to his great inner strength and deep love for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life is being planned for this coming spring.
