My granfather lived a happy, full life. He was part of the generation that built our country's foundation so that we could enjoy what we have today. He has taught me many things - his peace at the time of my grandmothers passing inspired me and his mental toughness all these years as a Cub fan is a testament to perseverance. I will miss him greatly but I know that he is smiling and laughing right now.

Dear Tom & Kay, Please accept our condolences. It is tough losing a parent. I regret that I wasn't lucky enough to know your dad that well. I only met him once but I was so impressed with his presence. He struck me as a person happy with himself without being smug. He was so lucky to have a loving and caring family and I am sure that was why, he was so happy with himself, because he was leaving behind such a First Class Legacy - His Family. He and you were so forunate to be given the opportunity to say your goodbyes and to acknowledge your love & appreciation for all the things that he had done for you over the years. I don't believe your dad would want you to be sad, instead be proud and happy for him. He had a great life and I am sure he is proud and happy with his gift to the world - His Family.
