I worked with Ed at Pope Ballard and at Seyfarth. He was a gentleman, a great teacher, mentor and friend. I still have the poems that he gave me for my birthdays.

Ed Miller was a distinguished and highly regarded member of the labor bar for more than 50 years - both as a practitioner and as Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board. He combined deep intellect, a powerful command of language, a commitment to fundamental fairness and humor to every undertaking. He was a generous and gracious friend who made everyone better just to know him. He will be sorely missed.

Ed was a distinguished labor attorney. It was my pleasure to work with Ed and get to know him personally when he joined Seyfarth Shaw late in his career.

I knew Ed for many years. To me he epitomized what it meant to an attorney/advisor and a gentleman.
