Edward McGinnis Obituary

To the McGinnis family,

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. Eddie (Froggie as he will always be remembered) and I were great friends back when we were growing up by Midway. I have great memories of going to Sox games with him and jamming with him in his garage. He was a great guy and will be missed greatly!

I send my deepest condolences to you upon this sad news. Ed and I were the best of friends growing up. We did everything together: we laughed together and we fought together. Most memorably, we formed a band and played music together for a number of years.
Ed was a great musician and a great friend. He is and will always be a part of my most cherished childhood memories.

Dear McGinnis Family,
I send my heart felt sympathies to you all on your lost. Eddie and his brother, Rich, were friends of my family, the Wallace's, for a long time. Eddie was a dear friend to me and my sister, Linda, during our high school years. We just finished looking at some pictures of him with us and telling our high school aged kids about this great guy. I spoke with Eddie a few summers ago about air conditioning problems and ended up gabbing for over an hour like we were in our teens again. When I am asked about some of my fondest memories and good times in life, Eddie's name always enters the conversation. On behalf of my entire family, we grieve with you on your lost. May his soul find peace in his ever lasting life with the Lord.
