Mann, Edward C. age 66, formerly of South Holland, IL and South Chicago, passed away Tuesday, October 17th. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice of 43 years; sons, Edward (Sheri) Mann and granddaughter, Kylie of Hebron, KY and Jeffery Mann of Fort Worth, TX, also survived by in laws, Gail (Richard) Braze, and Michael (Hope) Green, many nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Adeline Maniszewski. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, at 9:15 a.m. from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. to Holy Ghost Church, 700 E. 170th St., South Holland, IL. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Edward retired from United Airlines and was a veteran of the Illinois National Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Claretians Missions, 205 West Monroe St., Chicago, IL. 60606.

Auntie Alice,
I regret not being able to attend the services, with my Mother, and Michael. Please know you have my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and family. A vigil is lit for Uncle Eddie.

You and your family have my deepest sympathy regarding Ed's death. When we were in cargo Ed was such a nice guy to work with..he was always friendly,happy and easy going guy and then I went to security and worked with you and found a friend in you.
