Ed,
You will be truly missed. I will never forget the one and only time I ditched school with you and Melissa to go shopping dowtown and I got caught! We had some fun times in high school and grade school.
My deepest sympathy goes out to your mother and your sister and other family members.
Rest in peace

Ed As I sit here and look out it just doesn't seem real. Once again God has taken someone way to young. I think of all the great times we had you were so caring a true friend someone you could call in a pinch and know he would be there I miss you and think of you often. This was written when my nephew passed and I believe it to be true so I hope you may find some comfort in this and my prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow To Eddie's Family:
I give you this one thought to keep - I am with you still,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousands winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripen grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still
in each new dawn.

You will never know how much I will miss you. I know that all the fabulous memories I have of you will forever bring a smile to my face & warmth to my heart. There could not have been a kinder, more classy gentleman than you. And, lord knows, there was NO ONE funnier!! I'll never forget you.
I'll miss you terribly, my friend.

Well Kum, I saw you for the last time yesterday. The funny thing was, the first thing I wanted to do when I got home was to call you and tell you all about it. I'll try to forget the last two days Ed. I'll remember the Thanksgiving mornings when you and Dawn and I were scambling to get everything done. I'll never set the table like you did. Not to mention the several trips to the store I sent you on, and you didn't complain once. And the time we were putting up lights on the outside tree and you would climb the latter because you knew I didn't like heights. Remember Ed? I told you to put lights on this really high branch and you looked at me and said 'are you nuts'... Those are the times I will remember Ed, I promise. And I know when it's my time, God willing, you'll be the first one to greet me. I love you Ed. Kuma Marianne

Eddie, How could this have happened? You are just so full of life, whether going to the boats or looking for a card game.
Yes, you, Aunt Bea, Aunt Frieda, Aunt Kay and Uncle Bill are all playing spades or poker right about now. My deepest sympathy to your family and friends. Billy & I will miss you.

Eddie - I feel lucky to have met you and am glad we became friends. Boy, you will be missed so much. You always brought a smile to my face and I have so many fond memories of the times we all shared together. (The van rides, Santa Baby, the Spa Bath power outage at Mar's, the condo sleep over and pool parties).
Boy, you were filled with so much life and warmth...it is such a shame you won't be here to share it with everyone.
Love XO,
Lucy (Portone) King

I will always fondly remember the good times we had in high school. Ed served as the date for both Jennifer and me at one of BNI's dances. Lots of fun at the Hotel Continental afterwards. You will always be remembered, Ed.
