Malek Sr., Edward J. devoted father of Kathleen (Cornel) Montano, Bryan (Denise) and the late Edward Jr., loving grandfather of Stacey (Mike) Ladewski, Amanda (Robert) McGuire, C.J. (Gina) Montano, Marly Schott, Sophie Malek and Bryan Malek Jr., dear great-grandfather of Henry, Claire, Augie and Lyla. Funeral Wednesday, 9:00 a.m., from Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem, to St. Celestine Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment at Maryhill Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. For info call 773-889-1700.

Papa, you always had words of wisdom to share with all of your grandchildren. We will all miss you so much, but we are glad that you are keeping Nonny and Uncle Eddie company. I wish we had more time with each other, but I know you will be watching me on my many momentus events. Thank you for everything.
