Rev. Donna Louise Allen Atkinson

Rev. Donna Louise Allen Atkinson passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, 2026.
She is survived by her daughter Brittany Williams; Step daughters Ruth Atkinson, Wendy Atkinson; sister Sherry Ripak and brother Frederick Allen (Sandy). Rev. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Donald Atkinson, parents Ruby and Fred Allen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As a United Methodist pastor she served churches in Blue Island, Harvey, Chicago Heights and Highland Park, as well as serving as a District Superintendent in the Northern IL area.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at First United Methodist Church, 128 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Waukegan, IL, 11:00 a.m. (reception to follow)
