Dear Dad,
Love is not our choice but is our fate. There are no words to express my grief over the loss of my loyal loving father. You are loved and will be greatly missed, never to be forgotten, and safely tucked in my heart forever. With your passing destiny has taken us down separate paths, but as we all know life and death are both parts of the same circle and one day our paths will cross again. Until then I will continue to visit you in my dreams. I simply have accepted the angles message and let it be.
Your Loving Daughter,
Deborah
PS… Thanks for the beautiful letter. I loved your loyalty too! You always knew you were my HERO! God bless you and may you rest in peace side by side with my baby brother, Edward. He has waited a long time to see his daddy!
To all of you who stood by Ed’s kids and grandchildren in our time of grief we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Papa, you were the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for. You were always there to give me advice or answer any questions that I had. You have helped mold me into a strong young man and I am proud to be your grandson. You were a great man and will always be missed. Thank you for the priceless memories! Love, Michael

Lt. Ed became my boss in A/5 Homicide after I was up there 20 years. Not only was he a great boss, but a tremendous street policeman. You worked for him, but
he was your partner at times. We'll
allways remember "Kujo"....

I was Ed's secretary when he was the Tact Lt. at the 14th District. He was probably the last "Real" boss in the police department. He stood behind his men like no other boss that I have ever worked for.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
