Donnelly, Edward J. of Oak Park, age 79, beloved husband of Donna (nee Hesslau), loving father of Michael (Lisa), Brian (Carla), Eileen (Claudio) Lippi, Matthew and Susan (Charles) Cheever and the late Edward Donnelly Jr., fond grandfather of eight, dear brother of Mary (Thomas) Hurley and the late John and Jerry Donnelly. Korean War Army Vet. Life long White Sox Fan. Visitation Friday, January 11th, 3 to 9 p.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home/Gamboney & Son, Directors, 7319 W. Madison St., Forest Park, and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. until time of Prayers 9 a.m., to St. Bernardine Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Info: 708-366-2200.

Dearest Ed-
Mike and I talked about you a lot this Christmas, you were thought of often. He even ate those powdery cookies that you loved so much in your memory.
You have a great grandchild now, Madeline Rose. There are times that I swear I hear you and walk in the room to see Mike playing with her-he sounds so similar to you at times.
Just wanted to let you know that you are in our hearts and missed everyday.
