Coit Sr., Edward E. age 63, late of Schererville, IN and a former 35 year resident of Chicago, loving son of Robert W. and the late Alice Coit, beloved father of Michelle (Todd) Nelson and Edward (Yvonne) Coit Jr., devoted grandfather of 4, dear brother of Robert F. (Eileen) and Kenneth Coit, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. U.S. Army Veteran. Retired Transportation Co. employee. Visitation Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Elmwood Chapel, 11300 W. 97th Ln. (½ blk. West of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th St.), St. John, IN, where services will be held on Saturday, at 4 p.m. Cemetery private. 219-365-3474To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
