Edward Cichon Obituary
Cichon, Edward S. 81, formerly of Forreston, IL, died April 1, 2004. WWII Navy Veteran. Devoted husband of Florence Cichon, loving father to Raymond Cichon (Forreston), Robert (Lynn) Cuny (Freeport) and Edward (Sue) Cuny (Roselle), grandfather to LeAnn Cuny, Cathy Cuny, Beth Ann Cuny, Steven Cuny, John Cuny, Nicholas Cuny, and Ryan Cuny. He is also survived by his sister Lottie (late Edward) Kolman (Chicago). He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Joseph Cichon, one sister, Mary Tram and one brother, John Cichon. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Msgr. P. William McDonnell of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, 5 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary. A memorial has been established for Friends Forever Humane Society.
