Edward W. Betterley, 89, a longtime resident of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, owner and operator of Mill Park Realty Company, died at Baystate Medical Center on Tuesday, October 2, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, October 5, 2001, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Byron Funeral Home, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, Massachusetts. Masonic services are scheduled for Friday, 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 10 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Billings Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, MA 01108.
