Edward Barry Obituary

Mr. Barry seemed like a person who enjoyed life and the people around him flourished because of this. Enjoying my life living it the best I know how and riding my motorcycle has finally given me that joy for life.

I never met Woody...but my prayers go out for Woody and his family. Thanks for all you are and have been. Lives are better because of you.

God speed Woody. You've touched more lives than you'll ever know. I only hope that I can be so fortunate, as to be so well respected and so well liked by so many strangers. Thanks for all the friends I haven't met yet, because of your work.

I never meet Woody, and just came across this site by accident looking up parts for my Honda Aero, but after seeing his video tribute I was touched , my condolences to his family

I am always saddened to hear of fellow riders demise regardless of cause. Not having known Edward Barry personally, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the memorial video. I watched this up-beat video, and after reflecting, I felt as if I knew what kind of person Edward was, and a warm and friendly feeling overcame me. Our passing is only the next phase of our existence.

I haven't been to this site in at least a year and wasn't aware of this. I'm sorry to hear and my sympathy for everyone.

I only recently learned of Ed's death. Ed and I were best friends when we were kids growing up in tommy more. I have so many memories of us paling around. Unfortunately, we lost track of each other in the early 80's. I regret that so much. My prayers go out to his family.

I haven't checked the forum for quite some time since I don't have my Shadow any more. I was very saddened to see that Woody had passed away. Didn't know him personally except through the Shadow Forum, but what I saw through his posts, I liked. He was a good man.

Thinking of Woody and how he touched our lives in the Shadow Forum. Thinking of his family and knowing that memories of Woody will comfort you and keep him close to you in spirit and thought and always in your heart,

We remember being contacted by Ed indicating that he was putting together an ERC class, and he was contacting others to attend.

He would accept no help, and did all the paperwork himself. The class was a complete success! Just shows you the type of fellow he was!!!

I knew Woody, briefly during his life, through the forum and some Emails. He touched many lives and will be missed. My condolences to his family and close friends.

Although I did not know him personally, I can say that I have been touched by his presence. I knew and loved Ed as my "Lil Brother" for the past 5-6 years. We were very much alike in a lot of ways. Always saying the same things at the same time, laughing, sharing and bickering, like siblings.

Ed aka Woody was an active member of our online woodworking chat group and we will miss him very much! God will take care of him now and we can find peace knowing that.
