So sorry learning of Ed's passing. As Maintenance Head of a Brazilian newspaper printing press in Rio de Janeiro, i have been talking to him almost every day from 1995 to 1999.
It was a pleasure of mine mewtimg with him in Rockwell HQ in Chicago and sharing class at Goss facilities in Cesar Rapids, in 1995. He Head helped me a lot só many times. I Hope the Family read this and know I will never forget my friend. I wish ALL the best for you, May the Lord had received him.

August 2020, I learned of Eddie’s passing just this July. Eddie was the same age as my eldest brother, Mike. We lived 3 doors from his home in Cicero. He was our friend. He was one of the good guys. When Eddie got his first car, Mike sat in the front passenger seat and I and my younger brother, Marty, sat in the back while Eddie took us cruising. Marty is Patty’s age and I am a year older than Patty. I am happy to learn Eddie had great grandchildren before passing. I wish his family the best and know we thought the best of Eddie. I hope his family reads this.

Karen, Jeffery, Daniel, and Patricia, and members of the Bambas Family. Ed and I were close friends all our lives. I have known Ed since grade school at Our Lady of Charity, All through high school, Morton Jr. College, and our working career together at Goss/ Riockwell or whoever they called us (my) 38 years, and Ed's 40' years. He was my good friend, my groomsman, and oldest sons Godfather. He fished me out when I nearly drowned. For most of our four years at Morton we walked to high school. Little did I realize it was the best therapy I would ever receive. We walked in good and bad weather, Tom Bethunes' Father would give us a ride if was really nasty. We liked walking and conversation.
I will forever miss my dearest friend.

So sorry for the loss of Edward. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. When you lose someone, you love so much, surviving the loss is difficult. Just know that, God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit.
