Arndt, Edward "Ted" Ratcliffe age 74, of Rolling Meadows formerly of Evanston, beloved husband of Nancy Ellen Arndt, loving father of Peter (Mary), Bruce (Sandy), Mike (Cindy), Steve (Sue), Bob (Sherie), Dick (Kim) Arndt and Kathy (Brian) Sommer, loving stepfather of Donna (Bob) Carlquist and Sharon Conrad, proud grandfather of 14 and one great-granddaughter, dear brother of Dick (Jan) Arndt, Eleanore (Ken) Potratz, Carol Reid (John) Cole and the late Mary Ann Monk, son of the late Edward and Eleanor Arndt, uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, 806 Ridge Ave., Evanston. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4709 Golf Rd., Suite 1015, Skokie, IL 60076 or Little City Foundation, 1760 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. To the Arndt family,
I was saddened when I opened the paper today and somehow came upon Ted's obituary. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

Hello To All!
We are sorry for your loss. Uncle Ted was a wonderful man and he is in a much better place now. We will all greatly miss him, but remember as our children are telling Ted and I he is an angel now watching over us all.
