I know we have not been close since you moved out of the neighborhood but I will always laugh and talk about your dad to everyone I meet. I loved him and her. I will call in a few. You may have known my uncle if you passed thru his tavern and he poured you a drink. Or perhaps you heard his rendition of "Pizza Pie". And if you didn't, you missed an opportunity to know someone truly special. He was a wonderdul man, who opened his heart to many, and made you smile. I remember him wearing his grass skirt and even Aunt Dorothy's wig. And even if you thought he didn't always hear you, he understood.
My uncle is taking his last cruise....a cruise to heaven.
This is the last call.
Dude??.... Dude??... EDWARD!! (Can you hear her? Aunt Dorothy is waiting.)
I bet she already has planned a special birthday for you.
"Roll out the barrels,......."

My wife, Nancy and I are saddened by the death of Ed. We thought of him often, as we used to frequent his place on California Ave. I even proposed to my wife there. Ed was a funny guy and we had a great softball team in those days. May God rest his soul and the also Dottie's.
