Englert, Drew F. age 56, Veteran of the Viet Nam War, U.S. Army; Retired C.P.D. Investigator A#2 V/C with 33 years of service. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Burke), loving father of Christopher and Rebecca, a cherished son of Julia (late Andrew), fond brother of Mark (Susan) and Clifford (Beatriz), dear uncle of Lisa, Scott, Andrea and Neal Englert and Kathryn Woodward. Funeral services Friday, 8:30 a.m., where Family and friends will gather at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 South LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL. Services 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Damar Funeral Home, 7861 S. 88th Ave. (2 miles west of 79th and Harlem), Justice. 708-496-0200.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Mrs. Englert, Chris and Becky,
Nancy Slattery told me of Drew's death, it was very sad news indeed.
I remember his great leadership and enthusiasm in our trip to Walcamp, it was my first and I was so grateful for his help. I always think of him when I see the battlefield reenactments covered in the papers. He was an interesting man with many interests.
