I was so sorry to hear of Douglas' passing. I remember watching him when we were all on 60th Court. When he fell off that swing and injured his chin, I wasn't sure who would kill me first-Frances, or my mom, Melba Pett.
I am sure they are both upstairs, and she is once again thanking him for preventing a very large man from pouncing on her as she walked home alone from work one cold afternoon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very sad time.
