Svorc, Dorothy Churchill Age 97 years, of Columbia, KY, formerly of Willow Springs, Illinois passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 6:40 a.m. at her home after a long illness. She was born February 26, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Paul Fredrick and Eliza Edith Anna Zespel Glinzig. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Edwin Churchill in 1974 and by Otto Svorc in 1990. Mrs. Svorc is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Billie A. Hadley and husband Clinis of Columbia, KY. Mrs. Svorc was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Willow Springs, Illinois and was a retired factory worker. Funeral service: Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY. Visiting will begin after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Cremation will follow the service.
