Dear Cousins,

Robin called the other day to tell me about your mother's illness and then this morning with the news that she had passed away.

I can't begin to tell you how much your mother(and dad too) meant to us. All the memories of the past: the Seder's, birthday's when we little, Bat Mitzvah, weddings and other special occasions where your mother opened her heart for Robin and me. I will cherish all of there memories forever.

One of my most favorite picture's, is of me in a snow suit in your backyard with Steve and this huge Great Dane, priceless... I was staying with you, either during my father Harolds illness or funeral and this of course was indicitive of your mother's generous heart and love. But most of all, I will always remember her beautiful smile. So warm and genuine.

I am sorry I will not be able to attend the funeral, but I believe Robin will be there. You are all in my heart and prayers.

Your cousin,

Jamie

I grew up directly across the street from your family. Your mom was like the mother I wish I could have had. She took me in whenever I needed a warm place to stay. Losing a loved one who has meant so much to them, it's hard to know how to begin to express sympathy and words of comfort. I can only say that because she was so important to me, her passing touches me deeply...more than I could ever find the words to say. Dorothy was a very special lady, and I will remember her always. With my deepest sympathy.
