Dorothy DiRenzo Obituary

Dorothy A. DiRenzo, 89, of Minersville, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Waterbridge Personal Care Home, Pine Grove.

Born in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Ann Taurus Lutkus.

She was a graduate of Blythe Township High School and moved to Minersville after her marriage in 1941.

A loving wife and mother, she devoted her time to caring for her family.

She was a member of the former St. Barbara Roman Catholic Church, Minersville, and a current member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Roman Cathlic Church, Minersville.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John J. DiRenzo, in 2007; a daughter, Barbara Rinda; a brother, Vincent Lutkus.

Surviving are a daughter, Darlene (Russell) Smith, Pine Grove; two sons, David M. (Donna) DiRenzo and John DiRenzo, both of Minersville; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at 6 p.m. Sunday and from 6 to 9 a.m. Monday at Dutcavich Funeral Home, Minersville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Church, 135 Spruce St., Minersville. Interment will be in St. Barbara Cemetery, Branch Township.
