Dear Casella Family,
I have never signed an on-line guest book, but in the case of Dorothy I must. For 15 years I had an interior design firm. One of my clients introduced me to Dorothy and though I was nearing the end of my time in design, and did just a few jobs with Dorothy, she remains one of my very favorite people in the field. She was such a consumate professional, a no-nonsense, honest as the day is long treasure. I shall remember her always and fondly. Oh, how much easier my 15 years in design would have been if I had discovered Dorothy sooner. She was just coming down with shingles when I saw her last, and I am sorry that we lost touch but I was glad to be reading the obits the day her death notice was posted. I took some time to tell my family about Dorothy and said a prayer for her. She reminded me of my own grandmother, a long-time drapery lady for Marshall Fields. I am sure Dorothy will be greatly missed. I am honored to have known her professionally and can only imagine how it must have been to be related to such a srong and sure woman. My sympathies to the entire Casella family.
Siincerely,
Mary Duggan
