Dorothy Bielamowicz Obituary

Dorothy Verna Andryan Bielamowicz passed away after a wonderful life at the age of 90 years, Easter Sunday morning, March 31, 2013.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (smsj.org), 11323 CR 304 in Stoneham, Texas. A vigil service and rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Thursday, April 4, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Edward C. Kucera, Jr. as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in the church cemetery.
Dorothy was born in Houston to Adam and Mary M. Nowak Andryan on January 1, 1923. She received her elementary education from All Saints Catholic Church School and graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1941. It was on September 1, 1945 at All Saints Catholic Church that she married Lige J. Bielamowicz. A home maker, as her sons were growing up she was a den mother for their Boy Scout Troop and enjoyed cooking for her family. In 1972 they retired to Stoneham where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society. In recent years she lived in Seabrook, but kept her home in Stoneham which she enjoyed visiting often.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lige, a sister, Tina Andryan and an infant daughter.
Survivors include three sons, Philip Bielamowicz and wife Peggy of Tyler, Patrick Bielamowicz and wife Sheila of Houston and Paul Bielamowicz and wife Sandy of Seabrook; sisters, Sudie Novak, Theresa Smith and Rose M. Galla, all of Houston; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
