Doris Cocallas Obituary

I am so saddened by your family's loss.. Mrs Cocallas was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Together with her husband Jim and their children they were very strong part of the foundation of St. Peter and Paul Church and the youth that attended there. When I was younger I was so blessed to have Mr. and Mrs. Cocallas as my Sunday school teachers and also as mentors as I attended the youth group Jr GOYA for the church. They open their hearts and their home to many children, preteen and teenagers throughout the years teaching them about the Bible, the church, family and love. For many years upon graduation from six grade Sunday school the Cocallas family donated a beautiful brand-new Bible to each child graduating. I still have mine 40 years later. They were both so proud and talked constantly about their two wonderful children who I now see have grown up to be wonderful adults carrying on The family business so well-known now as a fixture in Glenview. Both of your parents are remembered greatly and lovingly and will be missed immensely. May God continue to bless your family and help you through this difficult time. Alexandra Korompilas
