Monoscalco, Dora M. (nee Polletta), 93, formerly of Evanston, died November 13, 2009. Beloved daughter of Francesco and Theresa; cherished stepdaughter of Ambrose Pennacchia; devoted wife of the late Edward A.; loving mother of Edward F. (Madelyn) and Mark (Mirella); adored grandmother of Laura (Geoff) Havre, Jill, and Michael (Cathy); fond sister of Olga, Emillio, Henry, and Leona; cherished great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Worked as a volunteer for St. Mary's Church, St. Nicholas Church and St. Francis Hospital. Visitation Friday December 18, 2009 2:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday December 19, 2009 8:00 am from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd. Skokie to St. Nicholas Church, 806 Ridge Ave. Evanston, Mass 10:00 a.m. Internment Calvary Cemetery, Evanston. It would be appreciated if in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dora's name are made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. TO ALL OF DORA'S FAMILY,
WE WERE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT DORA'S DEATH. SHE WAS SUCH A SPECIAL LADY. I ALWAYS ENJOYED TALKING TO HER DURING THE YEARS, AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME ON THE ST. NICKS BOWLING LEAGUE. GENE LOVED SPENDING TIME WITH HER AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO HER CHRISTMAS FRUIT CAKE. WHAT A BLESSING TO HAVE KNOWN HER. OUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU ALL. JANET SCHER AND FAMILY
