Young, Sgt. Donna J. Sgt. Donna J. Young, retired CPD, (nee Hockenberry), cherished mother of Rhonda (the late Keith) Mulac, Sherri (Louie Molenda) Noto, Lawrence Young and Sgt. Ray (Sue) Young, loving daugher of Mary Hockenberry, dear companion of Fred Biddle, beloved grandmother of Cyndi, Jessa, Joey, Jackie, Will and Grayson, fond great-grandmother of Angelina and Savannah, dear sister of James Hockenberry, Candice (George) Beaubien, Beckie (Bernie) Kreppel, Deborah (Gordon) Beaubien and John Francis Hockenberry, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, loving mommy to Taz and Kady. Resting at the Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence, Norridge, where visitaion will be held Friday, from 3 p.m. until time of service 8:30 p.m. Buriel private. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Donna was one of the first female Chicago Police officers and she was the first female canine officers. 708-456-8300

A little over a year ago Donna sold me her mobile home on Fun Ave, and before that I worked for her at 017. I'm sorry that I couldn't attend the services, and please accept my condolences. A piece of Fun Ave is a little less now. May God Bless.
