I am an old friend from 50 years ago from melrose park.

Donna touched my heart and will be missed by all who knew her. I certainly lost the person I could talk to. The memories of laughter we shared will never be forgotten. God Bless Donna

Dear Phil, GraceAnn and Denise: Although I haven't seen Donna in a long time I have many memories of growing up and playing with her as kids. Our families were neighbors but yet it is almost like we were related. The 23rd gang was just an extension of our families. I was shocked to her that she had passed and I am sorry I couldn't make the wake, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Always, Patti Zito

We are sorry to hear of Donna's passing, we both knew Donna, from childhood, in Melrose Park, can't beleive she is gone, she was a wonderful person with always a positive attitude, I know she will be missed.

To the family: I'm very sad to hear of Donna's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. Many of us went to high school together, and partied through the 60s and 70s. She was an angel, and a good friend.

To Nana, her beautiful daughters, their loving families, & especially to my brother, Shaun and his girls-
As we have shared many times, Donna ("Ma") dedicated her entire life to her beloved son. She made every sacrifice to ensure that Shaun never needed anything. I know because I witnessed it my entire life. Her love was unselfish and limitless. With God's grace, her memory, along with her beautiful smile, will forever live in our hearts.
To Ma, Thank you for everything. I promise, I will always be there for Shaun. May you rest in peace.

I didn't know Donna real well, but The time I would see her at Dominicks, and By your Mother-in-law's house, I had a deep foundness for her. She was so sweet, and warm, and she had a place in my heart. I know this is a great loss to you, I am praying for you, that God will comfort you, the girls, and your grandmother.

I was one of the lucky ones to have Donna come into my life she was a beautiful fun loving and the sweetest person I ever met I will miss her very much. She was one in a million. I know she left an empty hole in the hearts of many and my heart goes out to you all.

When I came upstairs from bringing a bite to eat with my mom at Westlake, it was so sad to learn of Donna's passing. She was the nicest, most fun of all the Sarlo's. I always felt the closest to her of all of them. We had many good times and great chats. I will miss her always. She always made me feel at home as have you.
