DONNA LARSON Obituary
Our Beloved Donna Lee (Leitner) Larson has gone to be with our Heavenly Father on December 19, 2016. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Camano Island, WA at 83 years young.
Donna is survived by her husband Glenn Larson, their children Cynthia Maitoza, Candice Storey, Kim (Anna) Larson, Kellie (Derek) Elaban and Kip (Jennifer) Larson. Her brother Ronald (Virginia) Leitner, brother-in-law Darryl Dickerhoff, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and 2 more great-grandchildren on the way, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her sisters Joyce Anne Leitner, Marilynn (Leitner) Dickerhoff, and parents George and Mary Leitner.
Donna was a loving, hard-working wife, mother and grandmother. She pursued her passion for beauty as she was the owner and operator of Chic Beauty Salon in Stanwood, WA. Late night clip and perms, and stylish wigs, Donna had every woman looking their best. A Tiki stood at her Chic Beauty Salon entrance as a reminder of her dream to live in Hawaii one day.
Donna fulfilled her Hawaii dream as her and Glenn moved to the sandy shore of Kihei, Maui in 1981 to manage a condominium complex. Although set to retire, Donna had one last working adventure as the owner and operator of Holiday Magic Vacation Rentals and was a realtor for Pali Kai Realty.
Donna was a member at Salem Lutheran Church and Kihei Lutheran Church.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart and welcoming spirit for anyone that came to visit.
Donna's wishes were to be placed forever in Maui waters where she will be put to rest on February 28, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Donna at the beach across the street, 317 S. Kihei Road, at 9 am followed by a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Kihei Lutheran Church or Salem Lutheran Church.

Donna has been a close friend of mine for many years.. We had many good times in Hawaii with her and Glenn and have many great memories of the times together. We will miss her on Camano Island. She was a beautiful,classy lady.
