Showalter, Donald Raymond 78, of Port Richey, FL, formerly of Northwest side of Chicago, loving Father of Mary, John (Karen), Beth (Jim) Cygnar and Chuck Showalter, proud grandfather of David, Danny, Kelly, Lauren, Nicole, Sarah and Kealey. Donald proudly served seven years in the US Navy and 32 years as a Park Ridge Police officer. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 11, at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy. Chicago form 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the U.S Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society, 875 N.
